Trade Mastermind is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Greene as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Mike officially joined the Trade Group as Chairman on 1 December after a period of shadowing the Board in September.
CEO Joseph Valente said: “We are really looking forward to Mike joining us and benefitting from his broad experience and knowledge and to be working with him over the coming months and years.
“Trade Mastermind is a unique organisation that has been providing Tradesman with business training since 2019. We have ambitious plans to transform the business, working closely with partner organisations to provide integrated and seamless training, helping businessman to get off the tools within the construction, plumbing and renewable industries to grow their business to 7 Figures and beyond. Mike’s appointment will help strengthen the relationships with our partners for the benefit of everyone we serve.”
Mike holds a number of roles at other organisations and is a self-made millionaire who grew up in Peterborough. In 2011, he took part in the Channel 4 programme Secret Millionaire, returning to the council estate where he spent his childhood in Peterborough, volunteering at the New Ark Adventure Playground and the ‘Time Stop’ YMCA hostel. Through the process of being a ‘secret millionaire’, Mike says he has learned something rare and important: “It’s more rewarding to give it than it is to earn it.”
Although still very much involved in business, consultancy and behavioural profiling, Mike now works closely with another ‘secret millionaire’, Marcelle Speller OBE, founder of localgiving.com, which facilitates online fundraising for community groups and their supporters. Mike is also a ‘business angel’, mentoring young entrepreneurs (via the IGNITE Peterborough charity) and providing seed-funding investment to help new businesses to get started and to flourish.
